Gay Dudes Answer 8 Candid Questions From These Straight Men
Sometimes it feels like queer men and straight men live in completely different worlds — and in many ways, that’s true.
In this latest video from Buzzfeed, a group of straight men are given the opportunity to ask gay men any question they want about queer experiences with relationships, sex and sexuality.
The boys really don’t hold back at all: they ask about everything from coming out stories to bottoming.
While the video has light moments, the men also share some revealing answers. One gay man’s answer to how much straight porn he used to watch before switching to gay porn tells a lot about the sense of denial queer people go through in their youth.
“I watched a little bit of it and always would focus on the guys in the shot,” the guy admits. “I would say denial is a really powerful force because I spent years watching gay porn convincing myself I was still straight. In retrospect, it makes absolutely no sense. But when you’re a confused teenager you can sort of rationalize anything.”
